HIGH RESOLUTION DOWNLOADS

 

High resolution downloads of the images are available to assist in making your purchase decision. Unlike going to a gallery and seeing the prints you are interested in, providing acceptable images on a Web site is impractical without very long load times. Consequently, we offer high resolution downloads with good detail and color. These are ordered from the image pages. They will be placed in your shopping cart, and although you will have to provide some of the information that you would for placing a print order (you will not have to give us any credit card information) there is no charge for the downloads.

As defined in the terms and conditions, you may download and print the high resolution files for your personal, non-commercial, use.

The downloads are highly compressed. Every time they are opened and then saved in the same format, the image quality will be degraded. Either just close the file without saving, or, save as a TIFF.

These images have a small copyright notice and the Site URL on them, and they contain a Digimarc copyright watermark. For more information on Digimarc www.digimarc.com. The files have been compressed to about 200-450K, depending on the image. Download time will depend on the speed of your modem and type of connection. Actual prints do not have any information on the front side.

New operating systems, like Windows XP, will easily let you view the download by simply clicking on the image icon, thumbnail or listing in Windows Explorer. Older systems may need software designed to view images, CompuPic, for example, photo-editing software, or the viewers that come with digital cameras.
